Express Entry is a point system designed for skilled foreign workers who have already gained work experience and want to become permanent resident in Canada. It is a competitive and point-based system that allows candidates to create a profile, which is then assessed based on various factors, such as age, education, language proficiency, work experience, and other criteria.
Candidates who score the highest points are invited to apply for permanent residency through regular draws from the Express Entry pool. The system is designed to fast-track the processing of applications and meet the labor market needs of Canada. Within the system, there are three different programs that applicants may be eligible for: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.
